What is Overlay Mode?

With overlay mode, you can enjoy many Orange Phone features while using another default call button.

Information on call identification and spam or telemarketing detection is displayed in the form of a banner that will overlap your call screen. At the end of the call, you will also still be able to give your opinion on a call.

Note: the banner may not be displayed above certain applications such as native Settings, banking applications, etc.

Overlay mode is an enhancement of your call button. It does not replace it. You can, however, launch the Orange Phone application to benefit from additional functionalities, such as suggested calls, the emergency numbers menu or the call log enriched with spam, reverse directory or premium rate call information.

Overlay mode can be activated from menu Settings / Call settings.

Warning: If you activate the Low Power Mode, you may not receive information on the caller number or not up-to-date information.

So, if you want to use the Overlay Mode and benefit from all the features of Orange Phone in this mode, we strongly recommend to deactivate the Low Power Mode.
