I've received a spam call, why the app did not identify it as spam?

The information on spam numbers comes from the community. This number may not have been reported yet.

Do not hesitate to share your opinion and report spam numbers to help the community identify spam calls.

IMPORTANT NOTICE :

The identification of incoming calls (unwanted, telemarketing or approved) is based on a list downloaded locally in the application and updated every 24 hours.

This update is only effective when the application is launched. Also, to be effectively protected from spam calls, you must make sure to launch the application very regularly.

Otherwise, if the database has not yet been updated, some spam numbers may not be identified as such at all.

It is also possible that some spam numbers are not identified as such at the time of the call but are identified when performing a manual search, again for the same reasons.

When you identify a number from the Orange Phone app, the app will display the reports made by the community concerning this number.

You can also report a number as spam (Unwanted or Telemarketing) and decide to block it.
